Photography project commissioned by World Bank Tanzania as part of Country Environmental Assessment.
In Tanzania, there are many sensitive challenges for the conservation of the environment. These pictures document only some of them, being: conservation and incremental of fishing resources in Zanzibar, conservation of mangrove forests as a natural mechanism of defense against erosion and natural disasters, shortage of water in the Great Ruaha River, wildlife as a economic resource for turism in Ruaha National Park.
World Bank Country Environmental Assessment 2019 touches and develop these and other challenges in Tanzania and how we could face these sensitive issues in a sustainable manner.
